Winter Fun

Hubby Norm is doing much better, even went to Wellness House for the day, but slept for most of the day after.  The exercises and the interaction are good for him and he enjoys it, doesn't like to miss.
Temperature is just above zero today and the sun is out - a beautiful day.

Faery ink digital image coloured with Copics.  For a niece's daughter, they live in Halifax where they get a lot more snow than we do!  DP is from Recollections and the die cut for the sentiment is from Spellbinders. Sentiment stamp from my stash.  Kept card flat to go through the mail can just add a postage stamp to the envelope, do not have to make a trip to the post office to mail.

Left this one in draft for a few days, as things got hectic around here and I forgot it was still there.

Pretty Garden

Well, it did snow again last night and even though we only got a few inches it must have been windy
because the snow has drifted across the road.  Looks like a grey day to-day - no sun!

I used a rubber stamp from Stampavie, Sarah Kay for this card.  My daughter in law loves to garden and has recently moved.  I have not seen her new house yet, but I am sure come summer she will have a garden so I thought this card would be perfect for her birthday.  The corner dies with the pink flowers and the butterflies/Butterfly border are from Memory Box and the center die is from Spellbinders. The sentiment die cut is from Spellbinders and I just wrote in the space. The bow is from my stash.            .

And a view of just the corner die cuts.

Flowers for You

Have been busy - Hubby in the hospital for 6 days.  Went in with pains that turned out to be gall stones, even though he had his Gall Bladder removed quite a few years ago while we were on vacation in Florida.  They retrieved 2 stones.  Because of Parkinsons he uses a walker and his speech has been affected.  So he had lots of visitors between myself, our daughter and daughter-in-law and our son and his wife.    So now I am trying to catch up on many things including making cards.

No stamps!  No Copics!  DP from K&Company.  Gold die cut from Marianne Creatables.               Two flowers from Spellbinders die cuts and two flowers from my stash. All the Flower centers are from Recollections.  Lace and butterflies  from my stash.  I usually send this friend a funny card, but this year I decided to do a pretty card instead.  Thought my lace was on straight, but it sure doesn't look like it is in my photo!
